How Do I Apply?

Member s and visitors to our ISP Alliance website agree to abide by our Policies and Agreements

 

ISP Alliance selects the students, and the student must meet GC&SU's admission standards and be admitted. The program is open to any student, regardless of previous or current major or undergraduate degree. You must apply to GC&SU by Nov. 17, 1999, to begin the classes that begin on Jan. 10, 2000. Individuals who are interested in applying for the program will go through the following process:

  1. When you are scheduled to come in for an interview, you must bring the following with you:

    1. $25 check made out to Georgia College & State University for the application fee.
    2. A copy of your last years Income Tax Return. (ex. – we are in 1999, you should bring your 1998 tax return)
    3. Bring 2 forms of identification for the I-9 form.


  1. Upon your successful completion of the Interview/Screening process, you will have 4 forms to fill out. They are:
    1. ISPA employment application
    2. Georgia College & State University application for admission
    3. On-Line Financial Aid application – Located at www.fafsa.ed.gov
    4. Request for Official Transcript

 

**Individuals applying for the positions must meet the minimum entrance requirements as set forth by Georgia College & State University. If you have questions regarding your admission into Georgia College & State University, you can contact the Office of Admissions and Records at (912) 445-5779 or look on the Internet at http://www.gcsu.edu/acad_affairs/enrl_srvcs/admissions.

** Due to the demands of the program, students are eligible for a $10,000 grant from the Georgia Student Finance Authority. These funds can be used to pay for books, tuition, and living expenses. It is forgiven at a rate of 20% a year as long as the student is employed in an IT position within the State of Georgia.
